No survivors??

 No survivors??

Victimization is a common error of a society, now a days girls are not safe anywhere, even not in homes because of domestic violence abuse and outside the incidents of rape is increasing disturbingly, and the girls who are coming forward and wanting justice the society is treating them as victims, but in the long run the women of my country after surviving a horrible incident or abuse been marked as victims but they should be known as survivors. After any accident or crime a man can easily start their life just with some trauma and physical indicators but a woman has to face a completely different outlook and attitude even in her own family, everyone just keep reminding her about the trauma in our society a man can destroy the whole life of a women just with one act because society gave him that power. The psychological change is happening but it is extremely slow and in a very small range, the large part of the society still treats a woman as a sin or a slave nothing more. Half of our country’s population (now less than half thanks to homicides of girl child) is still living in the shadows for them totally different kind of rules and they are always the victims, no one celebrates their survival but force them to live in guilt and trauma.

Most saddening thing is that the woman herself most of the time causes the distress of another women, mother aunties and other girl member of the family and society sometime find joy in discussing and criticizing other women in a different situation, a mother who gives birth how can love one child more than other just because of the gender difference, is that mentality programmed in the sub conscious mind of a large number of girl in their childhood?? What happened in the past, what the scholars of the past ordered or set rules for the women is still important? We don’t live according to the past do we? We live in houses with electricity gadgets and other new things, we can learn from past but why we let past dictate our future when we know that is wrong?

As a girl I also witnessed many prominent discrimination in the society, fortunately my home and my parents are logical caring and loving and they love me as their child, love me unconditionally without any reason or gender preferences, still even they could not spare me the bitter truth of this society and the discrimination of gender and how women are been treated according to the religious scriptures now transformed into social norms. Even some of my relatives showed this kind of feeling toward girls funny thing is many of them were women a mother but may be they were ashamed of their own existence may be something very evil and very old codes still set in their brain that making them act like that, they did not have child hood they had the girlhood they must have been programmed or trained to be a woman but not a complete human being.

For many years half the human species been living a half-life not living to the fool potential not having the same opportunities as the other halves, the full human evolution the full-fledged energy the wisdom the life all wasted just half of it been used because someone said so thousands of years ego and we are so obedient that still following those words without having a logical mind. So victimization is not what we are doing it is what we are victims of evil rituals and rules of the past but nor survivors because survivors adopts to the new situations, learn new things and be strong with time leave all weaknesses behind, but we are embracing our weakness and living as someone said we should but not as we could freely, so in a way we all are victims so we only know one thing victimizing others.

Life!!!!

LoveIdeasFriendsEndings!!!!
Stories are all around us, in every face in every expression in every emotion there is a hidden story. Every time I walk on a road I see so many faces, so many people walking around, some rushing to go somewhere in a hurry, some just wondering some resting on a bench or just standing they all have a unique story and I wonder often what are they? What sort of story they have? Is it a love story or a tragic one or a drama full of every emotion or just a narrative description of one’s journey? I have a story, and like that everyone else has one too, we can know a person, we can make friends and can grow closer but the story of their life is always hidden in their own consciousness, and some of them shares it with the world as words, some through music, some with color but in a different manner everyone try at least once to tell their story, sometime we see, we listen sometime they just fade away in this amazing world like missing scenes in a movie edited by the directors. Sometime we just see the perfectly organize polished version, sometime nothing at all.

Stories all around, the bright blue sky someone is looking at it while living a story themselves, some flower in road side the moon the clouds the rain the rainbow is for everyone they are common in every life because how much separate we all are still we all connected to each other by a large and complicated story line, billions of characters, love tragedy action sadness heartbreaking finding love again a journey all of it a single story line we all in it still not able to see it, sometime we do, sometime tears can be share by millions of people at once  sometime we all laugh without realizing it, we all get scared we all look for love thousands of people unknowingly looking at the same moon feeling the same emotion, in that tiny second we all feel connected sometime.

Stories I always love, nothing else I love more than a good story of some real character, the story of the old women who lives in the home next to mine, how was her journey? Who was she? What were her dreams? What kind of story is hidden beside the wrinkled face, or the little kid playing in the playground, what story he will going to get, where he will be years later, all of these may be totally useless in day to day life but those little stories are one’s life and a life is never less important than anything.

Dream of a free country!!!

Dream of a free country!!!

Independence!! freedom!!! every now and then these words makes me think little more than usual, especially in our independence day, we are free definitely but most of it only in paper and documents. What this freedom means is a matter of debate, is the situation of the common man now better? May be or is it just the same just changed its cover, once the drain of wealth happened, all the money and fortune were soaked and sent off to another country by the people of that country, now the money of India still going out in foreign banks but by the people of our own free country, now looting the country is in our own hands, so I think we are free. Still the life of a common man, a poor man who are the majority have no basic normal comfortable life, not every day they can afford food for their children, many children of our country still don’t have any education, proper health care, they have rights but only on paper not in reality.

Still rich people are getting very rich and poor is paying for just being poor. Is it really independence? From what, a foreign rule? Yes we are free from foreign rules, but we are being held hostage by corruption, illiteracy, and minimum development of human life. Still our children don’t get a safe life a safe place to grow up to be a proper citizen, they are living in hunger, without any special medical care, without education, many of them working in slums for money, we are free to watch the future of our country diminishing day by day by poverty, many Indians are free to die in hunger and starvation without home.

It’s been 67 years still we are still a developing country, which generation will live to see a fully developed India, people living moderately in all classes, standing beside one another without any conflict and petty divisions? I don’t think our generation will have that honor, may be next or next to them but if that day comes the celebration of independence day will be a true one, it will be a journey to remember, but that destination still hazy, it’s like an utopia but if we are free to dream then we can achieve it one day. Today 15 august 2013 standing under the bright sky watching our teeranga flag waving in the wind I dare to dream of a free India free from ignorance, fear, corruption, poverty, violence, may be years later someone can witness all that in reality not in a dream.
